Top Ten Pixar characters pt. 2

#5 Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story)

The action figure with a severe identity complex, Buzz Lightyear is one of many toys that come to life when their owner Andy leaves the room. His appearance causes waves as he takes over as Andy's new favorite toy.

#4 Rocky Gibraltar (Toy Story)

Probably one of the odder ones on this list, Rocky is one of the background characters in Andy's room, a heavy weight wrestler Rocky doesn't get any lines or much screen time. In fact the only things he gets to do is lower the ramp of the moving truck and hold a door back from Andy's dog.

#3 Frozone (The Incredibles)

I love superheroes, Pixar movies, and superheroes with ice powers so this one is a no brainer. Voiced by Samuel L. Jackson Frozone is a superhero forced into retirement and best friend to Mr. Incredible, and also helped The Incredibles defeat Syndrome's robot and save the city.

#2 Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles)

A superhero of immense strength, Mr. Incredible was one of the world's most popular heroes until he saves the life of a man trying to commit suicide and is sued causing all superheroes into forced retirement. He and his super family are called into action when a former child fan turned super villain threatens the world.

#1 Woody (Toy Story)

My all time favorite Pixar character is the rootin' tootin' cowboy and Andy Davis' favorite childhood toy. Woody wants nothing but the best for himself and his friends and that means being there for his owner whenever he needs them, but when Andy gets a new toy Woody can't help but be jealous. Then when Woody is stolen he discovers he is a valuable toy from an old 50's children's tv show and meets up with his "Round Up" gang, other toys who starred in the show. After Andy grows up and plans to go to college the toys find themselves at a daycare  under the rule of a ruthless dictator stuffed bear named lotso and it's upto Woody tp get them out and back home.

Top Ten Pixar Characters pt. 1

Hey kids Troy here. I recently spent a week in Disneyland and California Adventure and wanted to run down my favorite Pixar Characters as I saw many of them on my vacation. The partnership between Disney and Pixar is a long and successful one and it has produced some of animations most enduring characters. Here are my top ten.

#10 Remy (Ratatouille)

Patton Oswald lends his voice to Remy, a rat with a very particular palette. Not satisfied with a normal rat life Remy has dreams to one day become a world famous chef.

#9 Wall-E (Wall-E)

How do you make people care for a character that doesn't speak? Well that is exactly what the creators of Wall-E were able to do, with simple whistles and the raising and lowering of his eyes Wall-E is the most human of anyone on this list.

#8 Boo (Monster's Inc)

"Kitty" is all this adorable little girl had to say to make audiences fall in love with her. The human child that accidentally ended up in Monstropolis and turns the lives of Mike and Sully upside down.

#7 Francis (A Bug's Life)

The ornery Ladybug constantly confused for a girl, Francis is part of a circus act that is accidentally pulled into the act of protecting an ant colony from evil Grasshoppers. Voiced by Dennis Leary Francis is rude, sarcastic but a sweetheart at his core.

#6 Sully

Monster's Inc star scarer, Sully is as good natured as he is large. A monster with a heart of gold James P. Sullivan and his best friend Mike were on the top in their jobs until a human child accidentally winds up in their world.
