Troy's Top 100 Movies. #94 The Santa Clause.

#94 The Santa Clause
Yes I admit that I really like this movie. As far as holiday movies go it's actually a very original idea. This is Tim Allen at the height of his career. He stars as Scott Calvin, a toy marketeer that is more concerned with his career than his son who is spending Christmas eve with him. When he startles the real Santa Clause who falls off his roof it is up to Scott and his son to fulfill the responsibilities of Santa.

Troy's Top 100 Movies. #95 Dick Tracy

#95 Dick Tracy
The year was 1990, and the only comic book movies to be found were Batman, which had been released a year previous, and the Superman movies released over a decade previous. Dick Tracy is a comic book movie among comic book movies. Meaning that this film is so bright and so colorful it looks like it is right out of the pulp pages of the 1930's. Warren Beatty stars as Dick Tracy, a detective who finds himself on the losing end of a battle with the mob led by "Big Boy" Caprice played by Al Pacino. With the help of "kid" a runaway he took in and an uneasy partnership with Madonna's "Breathless" Mahoney Tracy sacrifices his relationship and his career trying to bring an end to "Big Boy" and corruption in his city.

Troy's Top 100 movies. #96 Meet the Parents.

#96 Meet the Parents.
Put the horrendous sequels behind you and look at this movie on it's own and you have a great, clever comedy with several laugh out loud moments. Ben Stiller has now been stereotyped as the awkward guy thrown into awkward situations but it fits perfectly playing against DeNiro's over the top protective would be father in law.

Troy's Top 100 Movies. #97 Meet the Robinsons

#97 Meet the Robinsons
Disney animated films have always been good but this one changed the game. Not the traditional Disney movie, there are no princesses here. What you do have is a smart, funny, intelligent movie about the strength of family and the importance of being yourself. Plus who doesn't love the talking T-Rex?

Troy's Top 100 movies. #98 Bruce Almighty

#98 Bruce Almighty
Jim Carrey is a true master of his craft. Having cut his comedic chops with stand up and on In Living Color. But it was the Ace Ventura movies that really cemented his place as a true comedic genius. Having other great comedies like Liar Liar and The Mask, Jim transitioned well into more serious roles like the Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I think however where he truly peaked and perfectly balanced both the silly and serious was with Bruce Almighty. He runs wild when he is given all of God's powers using them to his own ends, but then he shows his softer side in a beautiful scene when his character watches his ex saying a prayer for him. Bruce Almighty is Jim Carrey at his absolute best. Truly one not to be missed.

Troy's Top 100 movies. #99 Clue.

#99 Clue
For me screwball comedies are always a hit or miss but this one knocks it out of the park. Based on the popular board game, Clue centers around a group of people who are invited to a large house by a Mr. Body who as it turns out is black mailing all of them. When Mr. Body turns up dead it is up to the guests to figure out who the killer is. Tim Curry leads this cast of off the wall characters as they slowly try to piece together who did it, with what and where.

Troy's top 100 movies. #100 Oscar.

#100 Oscar
Welcome to my first post of my 100 Top Movies In 100 Days. I love watching movies and I have seen countless, I even work at a movie theater! So I thought it would be fun to post one of my favorite movies every day for 100 days. We begin with the film Oscar. This is one of Sylvester Stallone's least known roles and one of his best. Sly plays Angelo Provolone, a gangster who has sworn to his father to live an honest life, but when his accountant shows up at his door asking to marry his daughter, he finds out that promise is going to be very difficult to keep. With countless misunderstandings and twists and turns this is a fast paced comedy that feels more like you are watching a stage play then a movie. Oscar shows off Stallone's comedic chops among a stellar cast including Tim Curry and Marissa Tomei.

I can has GameFly

Hey everyone Troy here.
Just wanted to take a minute to tell you my experience with GameFly. If you don't know GameFly is a site that you can rent video games from for one low monthly fee, think of it as Netflix for video games. I have never been a huge gamer, casual at best. However over the last few years I have started playing a lot more. With the influx of giant PS3 games like the Arkham and Assassin's Creed games, and with the recent powerhouse of Bioshock Infinite I had little choice but to indulge myself! I started by buying them which was fine but that gets pricey after a while and there is no way you can keep up and how many come out each year. Then I started to get games from the local redbox (big mistake) not only did they not work most of the time but you could only hang on to it for 1 day! Hardly enough time. So recently my wife of all people suggested I try out GameFly and it has been fantastic. I have played all the big titles and have been able to do them at my own pace and I just drop it in the mail box after I'm done and then I have another one on the way! Currently I have played Arkham Origins, Deadpool, Black Flag and I am currently working on Bioshock Infinite. It's a great way to test and try a lot of games really quickly and if you want to purchase the game you can do that through them at a fairly cheap rate. Go check out GameFly if you haven't I think you will really enjoy it.http://gamefly.tellapal.com/a/clk/22xXhz
